The period 4 Student of the Month Assembly, cancelled due to rain, finally took place on March 8, 2014 at Magruder Middle School. A few Renaissance students called the names of the proud students hand picked from their own period 4 teachers. Here are the names of the superb students:

Ms. Borowski announced the Grades of GreenDSCN0459 awards – Annie C. for cleaning up the school with great participation and Adrian V. for cleaning up the school with great participation.

Once all the students were called up to the podium, the rest of the students applauded with enthusiasm for the hard working students. These students are hand picked from their very own period 4 teachers, and this award takes a lot of hard work, responsibility, perseverance, and effort. The students and their teachers should be absolutely proud!

Finally, Mrs. Peterson explained what’s happening in robotics club. Robotics Club is looking for a few more 6th or 7th graders who would like to join robotics club this year for competitions next year. Three students, Annie C. Carly P. and David K. demonstrated their skills with robots to show that any student could join as long as you go to room 11 every Friday during 3:15 to 4:30.
