Super Smash Bros 4 Analysis

It’s been about a year since we first got news on Super Smash bros 4 and when first saw it we were hyped up on how cool it looked, with the inclusion of Megaman, the Villager from Animal Crossing, and the Wii fit trainer from Wii fit. This game had lots of hype and excitement over this so much so that it started it’s own Miiverse community they gave us screenshots everyday.
This game also has some bad controversy on it because they announced that they will not be bring back the story mode or cut-scenes from the brawl, and that they will have less characters than those games too! When asked about this Masahiro Sakurai stated “ Unfortunately, the movie scenes we worked hard to create were uploaded onto the internet, You can only truly wow a player the first time he sees a cutscene. I felt if players saw the cutscenes outside of the game, they would no longer serve as rewards for playing the game, so I’ve decided against having them.” Most people are saying that this is an awful reason for no cutscenes and that this is just his lazy way of saying that we don’t want to put in effort on this game.
Also in an interview he stated that they will be redesigning most of these items because they want them to be more cartoony so it will fit in the universe. This game is also set to come out on the Nintendo 3ds and Wii U consoles in order to boost the sales for both consoles. The new consoles will both have different stages and gimmicks but will retain the same gameplay style and characters. This game does have a release date of sometime in 2014 but it might come out sometime around fall or summer is our safest bet about this game right now.
Most people are looking forward to this game probably because of the improved gameplay mechanics, graphics, and changes in character movesets. But others are on the fence because they’re spending development time on elements that don’t really matter like redesigning items instead of adding more online multiplayer modes or adding more characters than the predecessor and hopefully the next games will improve on this, but the creators of Tekken are also working on this game in order to make the optimum online multiplayer, because brawls’, was very lacking. But if you liked your favorite character in brawl, by the looks of the characters they won’t be changing much.
This game is probably coming out in fall of this year and will use the Wii U’s HD graphics to show more facial expressions and personality for the characters. The 3ds version will use the games 3d instead of HD, but now the camera will be more centered on you because every other player will have their own screen. The reason this game is being made is the same reason Titanfall is, to sell more Wii U’s but with their decision to make it a Wii U and 3ds game they just shot their chances in the foot.
