Oh, the drama! On April 3rd, 2014, a group of students from Drama Club went to the Armstrong Theatre . There, they went to watch “The Little Mermaid” play. They left during third to fifth period, and enjoyed their time there . A special thanks to Mrs. Jaeger for being the one who made it happen!

During third period the students went to the lunch benches to make sure that everyone came. There were a few students missing  because they were absent, but we went to Columbia Park to eat an early lunch. So we walked over to the park through the back gate and sat down on the grass to eat.

After we finished eating, we went on a bus to get to the  Armstrong Theatre. The ride was really short because we were so close to the theatre. On the way, we talked while we waited.

When we got there we had to wait in lines to get in. There were other schools there too so we had to wait a while to get inside. The wait took about 15 minutes, but it was worth it.  Magruder’s Drama Club sat in the last few rows of the theatre.

We watched the Little Mermaid, and the show was fantastic! There was dancing and singing sea creatures everywhere. They walked in the aisles and on the stage. Some were flying in the air! It was amazing to watch. Even after the show, the actors were still in character.  Ariel said that she didn’t know what a selfie was!

That’s basically all that happened. Next year we will probably go on another field trip. I wonder what play we will see next!
