“Did you see the President?” is an often asked question.  On April 4 through April 10, 2014, Magruder Middle School’s 8th graders went on their annual Washington D.C. trip to visit the historical building blocks of our nation.

The schools that traveled together included J. H. Hull., Arora Sequoia, Guadalajara students, and Jefferson Middle School. The students from Magruder who went are Emma A., Ryan C., Antony M., Matthew P., Christina S., Ngoc T., Harrison W., Amir W., Maxwell A., Devin C., Melody G., Quintin G., Lauren K., Kailey L., Mekenna M., Andrew C., Cort E., Noelia G., Phoebe K., Alexander L, Patrick N, Albert R, Ethan S., Bao T., Catherine P., Keanu N., Isaiah G., and Leanne N.

Some of the historical sites that the 8th graders visited were Jefferson monument, the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, and the Aerospace Museum. Overall, students loved the trip, and recommended 6th and 7th graders to start saving their money now!
