Magruder’s Open House
Open House flew by so fast. All the classes did a great job presenting their classes and it was pretty fun. It was great time for parents to see their kids’ work around the class and see what they were doing, while the students filled up with either pride, or candy.
Many people came. Some were soon to be 6th graders while others were members of the Magnificent Mustangs. Before anything happened though, there was a PTA meeting at 5:30. Then the Open House started at 5:45. The teachers did a splendid job of decorating their class with work and some went up and beyond with food. You all do have to admit that you went to Mrs.Jaeger’s class at least once, mainly to get cookies and suckers. Mrs.Takano and Yung’s class ran out of candy halfway through the Open House! All the classes were fun to look at and gave people time to look at what other classes did. It gave the parents time to also connect with the teachers. Thank you to all the teachers for bending your schedules to show the parents their kids work and putting our classworks up into your classrooms. It obviously was a success and was incredible! Can’t wait ‘till next year to see what happens!
